About Golden Satang

Located in the heart of Bangkok's Asoke area, Golden Satang offers a mid-range massage experience for both tourists and expatriates. Situated on Sukhumvit Soi 23, this establishment is conveniently close to the BTS Asoke station, making it easily accessible for those exploring the city. Golden Satang is walk-in friendly, allowing visitors the flexibility to drop by without prior reservations. The shop caters primarily to budget travelers and those seeking a quick and casual massage experience. While specific services are not detailed, reviews indicate that the shop offers foot massages and oil massages, with prices typically starting around 500 THB for an hour. However, guests should be aware that the overall quality of service has received mixed feedback. Some reviewers have reported dissatisfaction with the length of their treatments, noting that additional time was deducted for pre-and post-massage showers. It is advisable for patrons to communicate their preferences clearly to avoid misunderstandings. The staff at Golden Satang speaks both Thai and English, which may facilitate communication for international visitors. Payment is accepted in cash, so guests should be prepared accordingly. For those looking for a simple, walk-in massage experience in Asoke, Golden Satang may serve as a convenient option, though potential customers are encouraged to consider the mixed reviews when planning their visit.

Worst massage in all of Thailand. Not even a massage table. Booked for an hour, but after 20 minutes, I was no longer in the mood. Not recommended!

The worst place I've been in 1.5 years living in Thailand. Foot massage. Feet were disinfected with an alcohol spray (I'm not talking about washing my feet).. since I live in Thailand and my family arrived, they went to a good place but there were only 2 masseuses there, so I went to the place opposite.. (I gave way to a trusted massage place).. so I ended up in this place.. foot massage 500 baht.. when they finished my massage, I ran to the place where my friends were... and waited another 15 minutes for their massage in another place to end... while I was waiting, I realized that they gave me a 40-minute foot massage for 500 baht.. and they asked me to pay more money.. I got really angry.. this is not respect.. I don't want to try new places anymore...

The massage is typically more expensive at this location. A regular oil massage costs 500 THB for 1 hour. Paying the massage price upfront is also OK. The quality of the massage is also decent. Offering specials in the room is also OK. I didn't book any specials, and the lady was disappointed. What's completely unacceptable, however, is allowing at least 10-15 minutes for a quick shower (3 minutes, alone) before and after, and deducting a generous amount from the massage time. After about 30-35 minutes, the massage was finished, and she left the room immediately. After complaining, the massage therapist offered to massage me for another 10 minutes. Honestly, I completely lost interest. All the other people were also completely absent upon leaving and unapproachable. There's no desire for feedback from the customer. I strongly suspect there's a system behind this. I definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend the location.
