Pho Massage

This was a nice massage shop but it is now closed. I heard from the owner around May that they are closing.

This has been my favorite place for about 20 years. I booked a hotel in Phrom Phong with the intention of coming here, but it turned out to be a different restaurant... (sob) If anyone has any information, please let me know.

The massage is powerful but doesn't leave any soreness, and the balm used makes me feel incredibly refreshed. This was my favorite massage place in Thailand, but has it closed down? Has it moved? Can someone tell me?

I highly recommend this quality salon, especially masseuse 25, an expert in all aspects of Thai massage; she treated me perfectly! Excellent quality, a true professional, number 25 is an expert; she heals me!

These little ladies hit all the spots for better or worse the end was really good result for my partner and I. They are very strong. Highly recommended.

No matter when you go it's nearly full, so you can't go wrong no matter who you get! I think this will appeal to people who like a fairly strong massage. It's also a very affordable place in the Phrom Phong area, so it's a great choice. It's a popular place, so it's best to make a reservation!

Very Good massage, clean shop

Since I went early in the new year, the place was pretty fully booked. I was lucky, though, because I managed to get a reservation an hour later. It's a popular place. Their technique is the same as it was 13 years ago. They're a skilled massage parlor, so they provide a strong massage. It was a blissful hour-long foot massage, where I dozed off, then woke up in pain, then dozed off again, then woke up in pain.

Manage to request for a reservation via facebook messenger on the same day, relatively responsive they replied within the hour. The massage is not bad, receptionist and masseuses are quite friendly but they don’t speak much english. Location is near many eatery and also other sketchy massage.

I went for an oil massage at 6 PM today. There were only two older women inside, one of whom looked like the grandmother mentioned in the reviews. Luckily, I was served by the other woman. After confirming that my nails weren't very long and I wasn't wearing any rings, I opted for a one-hour massage to avoid any bad experiences. Halfway through, I felt it was good, so I changed it to two hours. The woman who served me was number 34, Pit (I hope I haven't misremembered the number and name). I'll definitely come back if I need another massage. 👍

This is such a lovely, local massage place in Sukhumvit, Bangkok. I came here 3 times in a week and was welcomed very kindly by the staff here, and was treated really well. The massages were great, they are clearly very experienced here. As a female, this place felt super safe and lovely. Hopefully one day I can return here!

There was a really good guy there. I regret that I forgot to ask his name. Apparently the other guys were good too. Their techniques are top notch. I recommend you go there once.

Authentic massage

Very nice, authentic, clean and reasonably priced. We stayed nearby and came here every day, we tried both traditional Thai massage for 280 bhat only, which is a real deal for this part of the city, and also hand and leg massage which was also very nice. Great place, highly recommended!

The massage was very good. The shop was clean and the service was good. Anyone who likes massage should try it.

We had 1.5 hr and 2hr massages consecutively after our first pleasing experience there. The two masseuses who were in charge of us were pretty good at a requested strength. The last day I paid more so that I would get one full hour on the shoulders and head, but it didnt feel like i got the full hour specialized on that section, out of the two hours. To avoid confusion maybe ask to divide your massages by time so you dont feel cheated if you paid more money for something else. Other than that, it was good for us!

I went here today, completely exhausted from the business trip and feeling unwell. The massage therapist lady, Su, gave me a 90 min wonderful full body oil massage. She was so considerate, lovely, and caring. Initially she selected a bed, and not the mattress on the floor but it was directly under the aircon and she thought that it would be too cold for me, she took me to the matress a bit away from the aircon (while she was covered in sweat)🙏🏻😭❤️✨️. The oil massage was a based on traditional Thai massage, a bit more gentle and relaxing than dry massage. Su's Thai massage was the best one I had in my life (in Japan, Australia, and Thailand combined) 😭❤️✨️!! The price was affordable - usually, in this area, they charge a lot more as it's a touristy area with a bunch of hotels. My local friend told me Thai massage should be around 350 ish, no more than 400. This place was worth the money and provided amazing service. I told Su that I'm coming back to see her for the remainder of the trip. I cannot thank her enough🥰🙏🏻🙇🏻‍♀️✨️. I can highly recommend❤️. Khob khun ka, arigato🍀✨️.

Unlike the other restaurants in the area, this is a very healthy restaurant! I saw couples who seemed to live in the area and people who looked like office workers coming in. No.9 and No.25 were particularly good, and I used them many times during my stay. I want to visit again soon!!

Competent and very kind staff, they also give excellent advice on posture.

The last time I went, they were having happy hour and I got a great deal! 🙆‍♀️ It's easy for women to go alone. Depending on the day and time, treatments may not be available immediately. There are many Japanese customers.

A terrible experience. The large amount of mint cream burned my skin. The masseuse had long nails and the massage technique was very poor. The lack of a towel on the pillow was unsanitary. I've seen a lot of comments mentioning the elderly woman's issue. The store acknowledged it and apologized, but the problem hasn't improved. This fits my impression of the Japanese: they apologize but don't correct their mistakes, which doesn't solve anything.

☆A massage shop that is very perfunctory towards tourists☆ Five of us agreed on a 2-hour oil massage that day. When we went to the restroom, we came down and were told that one of the massage therapists could only do a one-hour massage. I thought I would just get a foot massage instead, but a massage therapist came instead. I don't know if he could do it at all or just didn't want to. The lady who came for a foot massage at the same time as me, her masseuse was very skilled. In the end, we didn't want to say anything more and didn't even bother to give a tip and just turned around and left. The rating is 4.5 stars. I think the massage therapist next to me is indeed skilled, but my masseuse really makes me unable to give this shop a high score.

Terrible experience! I’m in so much pain as I write this. Went for a 2 hour Traditional Thai massage here on 26th afternoon. I should have paid more heed to the reviews before this that mentioned an old lady who is absolutely the worst masseuse you can get! It started out all fine, but slowly started to get very painful with a lot of poking with elbows etc. Despite telling her that the pressure was too strong for my liking she just carried on and laughed it off. Honestly after a point I was just waiting to be done with this ordeal. What annoyed me even further was that the guy doing the massage for my partner, and this old lady doing my massage, would just not stop talking! They were loud and super annoying! Constantly yapping loudly. Very unpleasant for a customer who has come for a 2 hour massage to relax, unwind and some shut eye. Anyway, finally it ended. The pain started to set in around my upper back and shoulders only the next day and it started become pretty bad! We were staying close to this place, so the following day I went back to tell them that I was in pain and if there’s anything they can do to help it. Their reaction was appalling to say the least, the lady at the reception first refused to say anything and just brushed me off saying we can’t do anything. When I insisted that they at least and put some balm/ do some stretches so that the pain reduces, she said we can’t do anything - go eat some medicine. After this, she just walked away disappeared and don’t come back! Came back home and met an orthopaedic first thing after landing because by the pain was quite bad. The doctor told me that the masseuse had bruised my muscles by applying wayyyy too much pressure. There can be internal bleeding too! I’m now popping pain killers and hoping to recover in a few weeks. What was supposed to be a fun and relaxing massage outing with my husband turned out to be an absolute nightmare! I think this place should be reported. Disgusted, scarred and horrified at their callousness and absurd behaviour. DO NOT GET A MASSAGE HERE. EVER!
