The shop is clean, the atmosphere is nice and quiet. There are many foreign tourists. The masseuses are very good.
Best massage I had in a veeeery long time! Very friendly staff and super clean! I would always come back. So glad I found this place. Definitely better than other massage places in Bangkok
Loved the foot, back and shoulder massage. 3 of us prefer hard pressure and our masseurs did a great job without us telling them what to do. We enjoyed the massage session very much.
Good value for money and a pleasant atmosphere. Piano music plays in the background and a little English is spoken. I felt very comfortable during two foot and neck/shoulder massages 🙌🙆🏻♀️
Super cool massage, went twice, complete relaxation, it is impossible not to leave a tip, I want to come again
Perfect place Very clean Very professional Nice environment . You fall in a sleep immediately
Very clean and technically (massage) perfect.
Great foot massage, very clean, friendly staff. I've been here three times now and will gladly come again.
Clean place, good massage, and friendly staff
Not sure why this place does not have 5 stars but I had the best Thai massage in years. I went to 5 stars hotel spa and very famous spas all over Thailand and nothing compares to this. And it’s cheap how it used to be years ago. Honestly a must visit in Bangkok. Just take the Thai massage and you won’t be disappointed
I went last night for a foot and shoulder massage and had a great experience with Minn/no 14. Thank you 🙏
Conrad back alley, great massage👍
This was a wonderful place to get a Thai Massage. We thoroughly enjoyed our experiences, across the multiple times we visited. They are very welcoming, and very accommodating. They also allowed our 2 10+ year old kids to receive foot massages as well.
Great foot masssage
I received a one-hour Thai massage. It was a pleasant experience in a clean environment. However, after the massage, the masseuse blatantly asked me to tip if I enjoyed the massage, which was disappointing. I had planned to tip even without that request, but hearing it made me uncomfortable and ended up giving a smaller tip than I expected.
I've been a regular customer here for many years. Today, I had a massage therapist named "Pia" who gave a terrible massage. It was a waste of money. Even worse than the terrible massage was her awful manners. A massage parlor should be a place for relaxation, but this person really ruined my mood. If you go for a massage, ask for the therapist's name beforehand. If you encounter someone named Pia, run away. It's a complete waste of time and a huge upset.
i gave 3 stars full body massage ot wasnt good i dont the name of who is makes massage for me but really it was the worest massage that i ever have in my life for the foot massage ot all prefect and good like most of massages in thai . thays it
2 stars for cleanliness and staff politeness. However, the massage itself was very mediocre, like just rubbing oil on the body without any pressure. Also, the air conditioner on the second floor was very noisy. I wish the shop would pay more attention to quality.
If you’ve had enough massage experience, you can usually tell how it’s going to be just from how they wash your feet. So she started off very light, so I asked for more pressure because my feet were sore from working out. But it turned out to be painful pressure that completely missed the right spots. I had clearly explained and pointed out where I wanted them to focus, but it didn’t help. It ended up being a really uncomfortable and frustrating session. When it was done they stood around expecting a tip, despite not providing any service, not even something as basic as a cup of tea.
This is a complicated review. First and foremost I’ve been here four or five times and have had pleasant experiences all but the last time. They always say you either review very good or very bad service. The times before were good, clean, comfortable. The last time was bad to terrible. First the masseuse wasn’t dressed in the traditional uniform which should have been a sign. She really just rubbed oil on me not really doing anything related to a massage (rubbing my spine, front of my calf), she was not comforting at all, it was very cold and she did nothing about the AC even though I asked twice, she was rough literally hitting the back of my head, it got to a point where I just told her to stop, and to top it off she took the slippers (that she gave me) so I had to walk barefoot down the stairs to the entrance. Perhaps all the other proper masseuses were not available but still please do not let her massage people with little to no experience or training. Having said that I would return but to ensure I had a proper masseuse.
Yesterday, I paid 860 baht for a one-hour foot massage for two people using my credit card. Today, a two-hour Thai massage for one person was 980 baht, but they only accept credit cards for purchases over $1,000. They were forcing me to pay with my credit card, looking displeased, so I just made a reservation at the Dream House next door for tomorrow. It's clean. It was also recommended by a colleague.
Unfortunately, this was the worst massage of my entire vacation. Before my flight, I wanted a shoulder and back massage. This was supposed to take place on a massage chair, not a massage table. To begin, the therapist pressed her elbow into my shoulders. Then I was told to turn onto my side, and the chair back remained raised – so there was no relaxation whatsoever. When I complained to the masseuse, she gave me a pillow for my head. The rest of the experience was anything but pleasant. Neither the masseuse nor the receptionist addressed my complaint. They also refused to cancel the massage or issue a refund.
The foot massage was terrible. It did nothing to relieve my fatigue from shopping. The masseuse used a light, gliding technique, and even after I asked her to increase the pressure, she only applied a little force when I reminded her, quickly reverting to a gentle stroking. The foot wash was also rushed; the water was cold, and she didn't rinse the soap off properly before drying my feet. She also skipped the full massage time, ending the session prematurely. The experience was awful.
I was really surprised. The masseuse stepped on my back. I've had massages in many places, but this is the first time they've stepped on someone's back. It was incredibly rude.
Very perfunctory, impatient, don't come.
I visited this year because I had such good memories of last year. While getting my massage, the staff chatted and came and went. They were so busy, and the massage was like a cat paw massage. They asked for a tip afterward.
I come to the Conrad Bangkok every year for vacation, and it's close by, but...don't go there...seriously, even if my niece gave me a massage, it wouldn't be this good. It's so obvious that she's forcing me to do something I don't want to do, and she's still trying to get a tip, so I'm shaking...even the massage fee is a waste.
The masseuses are lazy, laughing at clients while talking among themselves. The massage isn't considered a massage. Worst massage in a month in Thailand.
Five people went, and only one was satisfied... One of them was scrolling on their phone while getting a massage, and another's massage was completely erratic—sometimes too hard, sometimes too soft, it was terrible...
The first time I went, I got a 30-minute foot massage and it was so refreshing, so I went again, but the 1-hour massage was the worst. I wasted my money. The same masseuse just applied oil and rubbed in, and there was no pressure at all. It may vary depending on the masseuse, but just go somewhere else.
I recently visited Ruamrudee Health Massage for a full-body aromatherapy massage after a long flight, expecting a soft and gentle experience. The place itself was quiet and clean, so I initially felt positive. However, the massage experience was honestly terrible. The masseuse came in and aggressively spread my legs without any communication, which was very uncomfortable. The pillow provided was unusually large and chunky, making it hard to relax. I asked if they had a ponytail holder (since I forgot mine), and instead, they just put a shower cap on my head without much care. As for the massage — it was supposed to be gentle, but the pressure was the hardest I have ever experienced (and I’ve had deep tissue and Thai massages regularly in other countries especially Vietnam). I asked several times for softer pressure, but the masseuse completely ignored my requests. It even got to the point where the pressure on my wrist was so strong and it made a sound and it felt like she could have broken it. I came in hoping to relax and feel refreshed — instead, I left in pain. For three days I struggled to even walk up stairs, and almost a week later, my back is still sore,my neck is still in pain and my legs are aching. This was one of the worst massage experiences I’ve ever had. Unless you want to risk being injured and end up spending your trip in a wheelchair, I do not recommend Ruamrudee Health Massage.
If you read thru these reviews, most of the negative comments are accurate. We had a 60min foot massage here and there was a lot I didn't like. Some examples: 1. They shorted us about 10min. They wash your feet, then sit you down in the chair and then disappear for 10min. Only at the end of the session did we realize they started their timer when they say us down, not when they started the massage. So it's missing 10 min and that really upset me. 2. The place has two giant ACs and they are blowing at max. The therapists put tiger balm on you so with the wind blowing, you're twice as cold. They are unwilling to reduce the AC because it is. for the comfort of the therapists - this seems to be more important to them than the comfort.of their customers. 3. It's expensive. We paid about THB 1000 for 2 people 60min foot and shoulder. Plus tip. Taking into account my points above, it was not worth it.
